The National Council of
Psychotherapists
is one of the longest established societies of its type in
the United Kingdom, being formed in 1971 following the
“Foster Report” on the statutory registration of
psychotherapists.

granted a year in arrears. It is offered in recognition of the efforts of
authors whose work has been published on this site and which has been judged on
content and readability.

Marx Howell: Inspector Marx Howell is a recognized expert in
the Forensic Application of Hypnosis (police use) and Criminal Personality
Profiling. Marx has provided training in Hypnosis and Criminal Investigative
Analysis to numerous law enforcement personnel throughout the United States.
Inspector Howell is a thirty-two (32) year veteran of the Texas State Police, a
graduate of the FBI National Academy, served in the U.S.M.C., and holds a
Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice. Marx developed a unique
non-verbal hypnotic induction technique which he has taught to hundreds of
hypnotists and hypno-therapists throughout the world.
